... my life circumstances will most likely change for the better. On the other hand, no matter what takes place in my external environment, showing compassion, empathy, sympathy, love, fairness etc. etc. brings my internal environment to place of peace and joy. I can choose to feel sorry for myself if I treat others fairly and in turn am not treated so nice by them. Consequently though, I can lay my head down at night knowing I am a good person and be proud of myself.
Personally, I know one much greater than myself is watching and I want Him to one day say "Well done my good and faithful servant". No matter what others do, I feel confident within myself, I will hear those words.

...my integrity will remain in tact and I wil be able to look at myself in the mirror and feel good, however, I will need to watch my back at all times and remember that others will not always deal with me in a like manner.
