exemple of drawing:
1- Bob
2- Jack
3- You
4- my Mom
I have to random select one of them.
The participants must know how I made the selection and it must be verifiable. No real life contact.

Any Ideas?

Papers in hat and generators will not work.
Jack will never believe this if he's in Sweden and me in Groenland. I search for a method that can be "checked".

Why don't you do what the Numbers Racket operators use as a good source? Go find an international newspaper that prints financial totals each day. Find one that everyone likes that shows a number including dollars and cents. Then all agree to use the number of cents shown for that total number in that paper on a specific day of the week.

That is completely random, easy to find anywhere, and beyond fiddling with.

There are some random number generators on the Internet. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but worth a try. They work basically like dice. You input how many numbers, what numbers to use, etc..

In Excel, you can use the Random Numbers formula.

=INT(RAND()*4)

It'll give you whole numbers between one and four.
