on each of her legs, she has red lines. they have been there now for 3 weeks. they are neither fading or getting worse. they are not raised, and do not seem to bother her. she has no fever and is not sick at all. they just appeared one day. we thought they were scratches at first, but the lines on both shins are at about the same height and the same length. We havent been able to find any objects around the house that could have caused them. has anyone seen something like this before? or have any idea what they could be ?

My sister had that. It's a fungal infection related to ringworm. Don't scratch if it itches, as that will just release more of the fungus and allows it to spread.

There aren't any over the counter remedies that will help. You need to get a prescription anti-fungal from your doctor. Don't wait, as the fungus can leave permanent scarring if left untreated.

That is really odd. The only thing I can think of is if she wears "Footie" pajamas to bed, perhaps the elastic is too tight.
