I had the same problem as you when I was younger (nice to now I'm not the only one who had to deal with that.) I was so skinny that you could count all my ribs & other bones. Anyways, if you eat junk food, like some people may suggest, you will end up getting high cholesterol (which you so do not want). What you should do, though, is eat normal food (not fast food or pizza) but, more often. I would always keep fat free candy ( like York peppermint patties) on hand at all times. I do not know how old you are, but, if you are in school & you have a teacher that allows you to eat during class, just snack on any fat free/cholesteral free food/candy at all times. If you are not allowed to eat during class, buy some protein bars and, while you walk from one class to another, snack on one, or, eat some of the candy. That way, you will be intaking more calories tahn you normally do & will remain healthy. If you are sitting at home watching tv, or, on the computer, I would do the same thing.......snack on healthy foods. Before you know it, you will have eating more calories than you normally would have and would not really have notice/forced yourself to. Once you put on alittle bit of weight ( so you don't look like skin & bones), you will want to start doing some weight training. Muscle weights more than fat. You don't want to over-do yourself , though , with the weights, unless you wnat to look like a body builder. If you start of lightly, you will start to see some definition in your arms & legs. Stay away from cardio, though because it will just take off the weight you put on from eating. ( once you start to weight train, though, you will want to make sure you ingest more calories and add more protein into your diet)

Eat lots of protein, for starters. If you're trying to gain muscle, and maybe a bit of fat, try eating 6 small meals a day, rich in proteins, and exercise a lot of with weights, and not too much cardio. A great site to find protein rich foods, and track your nutrients intake, is http://mypyramid.gov
