boil some onions in water. then use the onion water. after it cools, use a dropper to give it to your baby. it will help the baby burp and he/she will feel better after wards. if you want to prevent tummy aches in the future. then after you bathe your baby use the baby lotion and rub her tummy clockwise three times then rub down from her chest to the bottom of her tummy three times repeat six or seven times. this helps her digestive track regulate itself and promotes a good appetite. the nurse showed my sister in law how to do this before she left the hospital with her first baby. she has three now and they rarely had tummy aches but when they did the onion water helped.

Do you have any idea what is causing it? The cure should focus on the underlying problem.
1. Colic - your baby is probably too old for this (mostly stops by 3 mo)
2. Gastric Reflux - Does your baby cry after feedings? (you'll need to see your doctor if you think this is the case)
3. Gastroenteritis - Is your baby vomiting? diarrhea? Try the BRAT - bananas, rice cereal, applesauce, and toast - diet.
4. Milk intolerance
5. Changes in diet
6. Intestinal blockage

That depends on what is wrong- gas, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, virus and so on. With a child that age it is best to contact the child's doctor.

Pepto. Depends on if they are constipated or have diarrhea.

Pepto helps with both though.

Take them to a doctor first!
