The number 36 is the number in inches around the bust of the women. The bust size means all the way around from her nipples to the back, basically at the widest point around her breasts. The A, B, C, etc. means the cup size. If you want to buy her a bra, you will probably have better luck taking her with and have her measured. For example, Victoria's Secrets will measure her for free. If that's not possible, look at the size of one of her other bras in her bra drawer, and just buy that size. Do it without her knowing and surprise her! She will think you know her body so well and you will make her a very happy lady! Good luck!

Just walk up to your Mom and say "Next time u go clothes shopping can I come with you as I really need to get a bra" She has been through puberty and probably still remembers the day she had to ask her parents. She knows the bra and tampon subject are tough and will be glad that you went to her for advice. I am a single dad and I know it was tough for my daughter to approach me but she said those exact words and in a day or 2 we were in a shop looking at bras. I am glad she did come to me and not look on the internet because I know now we have a good relationship and the internet can be confusing because everyone has different advice. BTW, the lady in the bra section was very helpful, looked at my daughter and picked out a few for her to try on. We walked out with 3 bras, 4 shirts, 2 ties and a pair of shoes each. Then went for pizza.

The letters are the cup size and the numbers are the circumference. A good birthday gift would be to schedule her to be professionally fitted for a bra and then buy something after she has a correct measurement.

The letter is the cup size (the piece of material the breast actually sits in) and the number is the size around the body (the strap that guys find so hard to undo)

The numbers like 46,36 are how big around she is at the bust. the letters D,C are the cup sizes. I suggest sneeking a look at one of her bras. They have tags that will tell you the size she is wearing.

k....the number (before the letter) means how "big" you are around....in other words if you measure around your "ribs" (right below the breastesses area) that's the number around.....the letter (as in a, b, c d, etc) is your cup size...it's pretty easy to tell someones cup size, but maybe because i'm a girl. idk.....so if you're a 32C, you measure 32 around and are a C cup.....

the numbers indicate the circumference of your chest just below your breasts, where the letters represent how many inches larger the circumference of your chest is measuring on your breasts.

an a-cup is one inch larger, b-cup two inches, c-cup three, etc.
