I was born in the Catholic Faith, but I do not slam any other religions ! As in anything else there are good people and then there are bad people taking everything to the extreme ! We all need something to believe in, so why hate mails or just being plain mean ? I do not push my religion on anybody and we should all do the same. Live and Let Live !

If everyone behaved that way I'd agree....
But I also don't think there SHOULD be tolerance for intolerant religions. There is no reason to tolerate what the right wing fundamentalists are doing. There is no reason to tolerate what much of the Islamic community is doing.
Tolerance is a two edged sword......without giving it, you can't expect any. I have no tolerance for people who want to teach my children their beliefs in a public school.

The answer is that you can love and respect the individuals who belong to other religions but you cannot tolerate the beliefs of a religious institution when those beliefs damn the souls of the people who are guided by them to Hell. Instead a Christian is called to act in the following manner.
2 Timothy 2:23 Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. 24 And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and they may escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will.

because some people are just plain mean and ignorant! they dont realised that no matter how much they hate on people like me (with another religion) isnt gonna change the way we think and our belifs.
but i totally agree with u! why cant we just tolarate other religions... some people are so self reserved... and they call themself christians and catholics and the ironic thing is in those religons u r supposed to love one another... EQUALLY.

I can tolerate other religions but when someone says something regarding the Bible that isn't accurate it has to be disputed. If you are not strong enough to take correction where error lies then perhaps you should go to a different category like knitting where the questions and answers don't feel so personal

i hate to be the one to inform you of this, but it is because your religion is a mean judgemental religion that forces itself upon others. The reason it does this is because people of your faith think the ONLY way to salvation is through jesus christ. Source...my own post lol

Evangelical Christianity can't be tolerated it has to be confronted. It's because we've been too tolerant that this anti-American ideology has spread to the stage where it threatens people's fundamental freedoms and liberties.
