Some people, like those with rosacea or very sensitive skin can't wash with hot or warm water. Washing with cold won't hurt your skin, it may not soften up the oils as much, or open your pores as much, but that's ok. If you are happy with the texture of your skin I would continue your regimen. Nobody should wash with HOT water, it can damage the skin and capillaries, the same goes for very cold.

no, cold water isn't bad for you at all. unless you know, it's freezing ice-water and you dunk your head in it and get frostbite.
but seriously, beauty products say to wash with warm water because it relaxes your pores and opens them up so their product will get in there and work better. cold water closes your pores, so it's good to rinse with cold when you're done washing your face to close up those pores to protect them from dirt during the day.

Washing your face in cold water is not bad. Actually, especially in the winter months, you should wash your face in cool water. Washing in hot water dries out your skin and when its winter the hot water justs makes your skin ever drier.

Everyone has different opinions on this, but I'll tell you what I know. My wife has always washed her face with cold water. She is 42 years old and people just laugh when she tells them how old she is. Everyone tells her that she looks 20 something. Oh, and she never wears makeup when people say that.

No it aint bad to wash you face with cold water, but chill water can damage your skin.
our skin is most sensitive part of our body and face skin is very delicate. so naturally extrem cold or hot water can damage it.
its better to use water spray bottle to shower the cold water on ur face, to give you the same refrehing results with out damaging it sesnsitive skin.
