Yes it will.

Although light and the various radio frequencies
used by the police (K and X band)
are all ElectroMagnetic waves,
no, RADAR is not light.

The police do have a harder time identifying
vehicles in the dark for the obvious reasons -
its harder to see license plates, etc.

However, the RADAR gun as a tool
works just as well in the dark as in the light.

Absolutely...and by the way, Demonous doesn't know beans about RADAR.

RADAR stands for RAdio Detection And Ranging...the word "radio" in the title gives you a clue on how RADAR works, but here's the short version.

A RADAR unit transmits a microwave RADIO signal at a set frequency, or wavelength. When the RADAR signal bounces off of a moving object (called "reflection"), the return signal's wavelength has changed. If the object is moving away from the RADAR unit, the wavelength will increase; if it is moving towards the RADAR unit, the wavelength will decrease. In either event, the microprocessor inside the RADAR unit measures the amount of change in the wavelength and computes the object's speed, which is then displayed on an LED readout window.

So yes, RADAR works at night. So does LIDAR (LIght Detection And Ranging), by the way.

Yes. The police radar gun uses continuous wave radio waves to accurately check the speed of vehicles in both the night and the day.

Yes Radar will work at night and so with Police laser speed guns which do use Infra-red light

Radar weapons does not have something that flashes. A digital camera would. That mentioned, it relatively is greater possibly you observed the mirrored image of an unrelated gentle source of a mushy floor, such through fact the window of one of the automobiles.

Yes. Radar uses sound waves, not light waves, to determine speed.

Yes, and contrary to what the first person said Radar is not light - it is radio waves. Radio waves are not part of the visible electromagnetic spectrum.

It sure will, in fact, it works every single time I'm 5 miles over the posted limit, day or night!
