No, I have a friend who's athiest. It's really annoying when she says "God damn it" and "Oh my God" because she doesn't believe in it.

She's also a very annoying person, even if she wasn't athiest, I'd still be annoyed.

Do you mean that you get angry because you cant "convert" them over to your way of thinking?
If so you probably aren't really angry. A better way to put it might be that you are simply frustrated with them and yourself. You see, some people can't be made to change and you just need to accept this. Understand that we are all different and that is what makes the world go 'round, so to speak. As soon as you accept this and understand that an atheist is smarter than you and all other "thumpers" the world will be a better place to live in. For everyone.

No you should not get angry. If you are getting angry then you are talking to the wrong kind of Atheist. The same could be said the other way around. You should be open to other ideas and opinions when put to you in a respectful manner. It doesnt mean you have to agree. Just ignore those that are getting off on your anger, no matter what they believe.

Do you get mad because you're right? Or do you get mad because your athiest friends are wrong? Or do you just have a problem getting mad? Look! The fact is whether you're a believer or not, you're probably wrong about God! Whatever you think God looks like, whatever you believe He wants, whatever you think He demands of you or thinks about athiests - you are incorrect! Inaccurate at least! If God exists then He will achieve precisely what He intends to achieve - regardless of you! If you're friend is anathiest then it must be God's will for him to be an athiest for now. It is obviously an essential part of God's "plan" that you get mad about it too! Maybe He likes seeing you get mad, that's my thought, but its probably wrong too! So look why don't you just do your thing and let everyone else do their thing. God can do His thing...and when we're all dead and gone and world all passes away in 5 billion million years time - then! Then we'll see who's right and who's not....but it makes you why anything would really matter at that stage....

Sounds like you need to cultivate patience and a calmer mind. To others, like me, an atheist Buddhist, the concept of an omnipotent creator god is illogical. Why should my beliefs cause you to be angry? You believe as you do and it works for you, kindness and more skillful behavior is in understanding that you can't force others to see your viewpoint all the time.

I don't have any problem when I talk to atheists. Maybe you need to look inside yourself and figure out what is causing your anger...

Edit: But WHICH god is so obvious? There are so many. Atheists just believe in one less god than you do... Don't you see the error of your argument and your need to convince them of YOUR truth?

No, Atheists with all their use of Satanic evidence and reason are threatening our very salvation. If we had a decent Christian society they would be immediately locked up and stoned to death as our bible commands. You are right to get angry and attack them. They are the most dangerous creatures on this planet. They don't realize that by turning you away from Jesus they are threatening to have Jesus burn you in hell forever. Don't succumb to their use of evidence or reason. The bible tells us that is the way of Satan.

1 Peter 3:8-12 (N.I.V.)
Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one another; be
sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. For,“whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. He must turn from evil and do good; he must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those
who do evil.”

No you are not the only one to experience anger when dealing with others. We are all guilty and we must all repent and turn to the Lord and He will heal our hardened heart. freedomfromfreedomto.com

I used to when I was a baby christian.
BUT, they are deceived. Many have not looked into the evidence that God has given us. They are just misinformed even if they say they've looked. There are some educated or informed in the bible/things of God but not many.
So don't be mad, pray for them, have a heart for them.

I'm sure you're not the only one, but you really need to ask yourself why. Are they challenging your beliefs to the point that you are questioning them? If so, is that necessarily a bad thing? Sometimes, that kind of challenge can help you solidify what you do and don't believe.. it can inspire you to dig deeper.
