I would highly recommend MD Anderson in Houston..it is one of the top 3 cancer hospitals in the world.
I was an inpatient there about a year ago. I received chemotherapy and radiation like I would at any hospital, but MD Anderson also approaches cancer in an innovative way. They supplement chemo and traditional treatment with more cutting edge methods, (like using baby placenta.) A lot of hospitals are afraid to be creative b/c they don't have the reputation and credentials to back it up, but MD Anderson does.

Dear Nirupama, Sai Ram. If you are in India, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. In USA, there may be many more and there could be specialists for different types of cancer in different hospitals. So, check with some doctors whom you know well to recommend the specialist. May Sai's blessings be with you. Sai Ram.

I had the most advanced stage cancer called Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (a cancer of B-lymphocyte, white blood cell). I was 28 then. Now I'm 33 and fit n fine. I underwent treatment at AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences- IRCH), by Dr. Lalit who is highly reputed in this field.
I personaly think that the cancer wing at AIIMS has the professionalism to take care of critical patients. Private establishments are most of the time trying to make money.

You can try checking the National Cancer Institute it is part of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. I have met many people from all around the world there. You have to be accepted into a protocol to go there.
I was given 0% in 2000 and they did some experimental things with me and I am now doing great!

Cancer is termed as a terminal disease and MIPCN has the necessary treatment to make the disease go away. Proper chemotherapy sessions and medicine will help the patient get well. Apart from the effort of the doctors and nurses it is important for the patient to have the will power to fight the illness and have the positive thinking and hope to get well soon.
