in a Restaurant, what do you think about those at the other tables that blow their nose at the table?

I think it's nasty!!! They should just dab a tissue on their nose if it's runny then go to the bathroom to blow out all the snot!!!
Blowing your nose at the table shouldn't be accepted anymore than somebody farting at the table!

When I had a restaurant the most disgusting habit concerning what you ask about-was the habit of customers blowing their noses into our linen napkins-then leaving them there on the table and at the end of the meal expecting them to be picked up by the waitress.
By dog is better bred and the general public's standard of hygiene,manners and etiquette is thoroughly disgusting.
For any nasal clearance or attendance to bodily function you leave the table and go to the bathroom unless you have a spontaneous sneeze or a sudden fit of choking.Then and afterwards it would be polite to apologize to those near to you.

I understand it's nature to have to blow one's nose but I agree, some people get so dramatic about it. It's like they want everyone to hear them. I always try to be discreet as possible.

Yes. It's gross. Plain and simple.
However, if one has an unavoidable drip, I think it's acceptable to wipe (not blow) one's nose at the table (so it doesn't get really REALLY gross!!) and then promptly excuse oneself to the restroom.

I myself perfer them to blow. It drives me nuts when a person is just sniffing it up there nose.

I don't think you'd have to go to the restroom, I'd try to be quiet about it though, some people sound like an elephant in heat!

Where would you like them to blow it?
It is a natural bodily function and sometimes you can't avoid the need to do i right then and there.
