I am currently being treated by a dermatologist for moderate acne and i was not sure if there was anything out there for the larger pores!!

If your dermatologist is treating you with retin-a, then this will reduce pore size as well. Don't waste your money on trying unproven products. Clogged pores and oily skin can widen the pores, but with the increased skin-cell turnover through retin-a, your pores will also shrink. Retinol and retin-a products are the only ones proven to do this!
Peppermint will IRRITATE your skin, and possibly cause acne.
I personally use a mild retinol product... it worked for me.

Clinique has a Pore Minimiser line which is fantastic! It is also allergy tested and really mild so it shouldn't interfere with your acne treatment...

used oatmeal as a facial pack for a few minutes with lemon on it. wash your face with warm water.

USE PEPPERMINT EXTRACT PRODUCTS. WILL MAKE YOUR PORES SMALLER.
