the more hydrated you are the better your short term memory.

most people are dehydrated, coffee and soda are not substitutes for water.

and if you are a big soda drinker,

but if you plan on taking vitamins, try to stick to a multivitatmin

While I was in college I couldnt remember hardly anything. A friend of mine told me about st. johns wort. The name sounds horrible, but I started taking it and it seemed to really make me more focused to were I could remember things. It was also a natural mood elevator and seemed to make me much more mentally sharper.

A vitamin complex is better. It should have lechitin (it's extacted from soya and it really works), ginko biloba, but also vitamins - B6, B12, magnesium, phosphorus.
