I'm black mixed, and I have a daughter who is 3 and her father is white. She has mid-back length hair that is all over the place when she wakes up in the morning. Its a curly grade, not frizzy or "nappy" but it is still kind of...big! What I do is use a wide tooth comb and a little hair lotion like BB, its a really good brand for little kids, and a bit of spray on detangler like Just For Me. First I spray on the detangler, then comb from the ends of her hair and work my way through until all of the tangles are out. After that I put in the hair lotion and she has perfect spirials... or you could find someone who knows how to do cornrows, those are so cute on boys.... Mixed race hair isn't all that much of a matter, its only becomes an obstacle if you see it as one. Also, don't wash his hair everyday, that only incerases the dryness, if you rinse it and condition it every other night that should suffice.

It might be a good idea to get professional advice from a hairdresser or barber that deals in hair of his texture . You may need to use a conditioner or moisturizer to get better control. Do it fast before he becomes self conscious about it. A short hair cut may be the best thing all around.

Im PuertoRican and Black...well i think u should put a texturizer on it or wash it and use some curl booster onit...it'll look real cute..but i suggest your don't perm it...it'll ruin it...i've learned my lesson from it..i had to cutt my hair off......but yes..its hard to manage but maybe braids or just put it in a ponytail if its long enough.....my brother used a texturizer...and it makes it real curly
