I use a face cleanser in the morning and the evening. It has no oil in it, its a johnson and johnson product. If I use a lotion like the product johnson and johnson clean and clear. Its a salicylic acid product, do you think that will help clear the reddness up around my nose.

If you happen to live in Houston, Texas, go to see Dr. Marshall Knox. He is a wonderful dermatologist at the Medical Place 1 near St. Joseph Hosp.
My husband had this problem and for no apparent reason his nose would get blood red.
Dr. Knox has his own preb. for that and my husband puts it on his nose and within a few hours it is no longer red. It flares up every now and then. He uses it now as needed. It's amazing. Maybe your Dr. could get in touch with him, where ever you are. Good luck, I am so happy to share this news with anyone who sees it.I hope he is still in practice. We still get refills.~~Jill

You may have the beginning of roseacea. See a dermatologist or ask your family Physician.

oh, you're trying to get rid of the redness... sorry can't help... I was going to tell you how to get rid of your nose.
