Ok, my computer has been running like crap. So bad that my mothers dial up is faster than my DSL. So I'm poking around and I've found on my C drive, dozens of hidden T files and .exe files...that were NEVER on it before. Actually, some aren't even hidden. For example, here are a couple things I found.. aaaaafjw.t, beiUVOm.exe....dozens of them! What are they and are THEY the problem? They were all created on one of two dates. Anybody know what these files are?

Looks like you have a serious virus. You need to try several things. Go to tools-internet options and delete cookies and then delete files. Then run an anit virus. After that then you need to clean your files, and then run the defragmenter application. After you have done all that, then logoff and shut down, then reboot. This should help. Sounds like you have left your computer on and walked away from it. This is something you should never do. When you are through with your computer you should always logoff and shutdown completely. This way noone can get access to your computer or no virus can get in. There are sites out there if you visit they have viruses attached, this is how lots of viruses get to a computer.

Looks like some sort of hidden hack. If I were you I would download spybot killer, adaware, and avast (free anti virus) and run them all. I wouldn't go deleting all those files unless you KNOW for sure they don't belong. Hopefully, the other programs will catch them and should increase performance of your computer.

Download and run free spyware checkers like Adaware, Spybot S&D, and especially crapcleaner(ccleaner), and AVG anti virus for good measure. Download and run Winpatrol to see what is running on your pc. Change messenger settings so that it doesn't run at start up.

All good advice: look for spy and virus. BUT if it hasn't happened too long ago, consider restoring to a prior date. It may be a quick fix for you.

Open the files and see if they're worth keeping in the computer, if not then delete them, coz they actually be the problem!!!! If not then install an anti-virus program coz you might have one in your hard drive.
