Great hair starts at the root,so a healthy diet is key.
Get a hair cut.A trim is necessary every 6 to 8 weeks to get rid of split ends.
Use a sulphate free shampoo.
For oilier scalp, try shampooing just your roots, follow with a conditioner.Use conditioner from the mid-shaft down where your hair is driest.
Use smoothing serum to get the frizz off your curly hair.It will smoothen and soften your hair and enable you to comb easily.

You can try a wide tooth come with pointy ends. You will have to buy a few 'till you get the right one. Some are junky with rounded, cheap plastic ends and all they do is pull your hair. If the comb sounds pingy and cheap it probably won't do well.
Next, wash hair with a 'pantene' or 'pert' then use a GOOD conditioner (you have to try many to find one that works well for you & sometime the expensive ons are the best then sometimes they aren't - but it should be thick in consistancy not a watery conditioner - heavy duty conditioner is the stuff for permed or colored hair and works well) such as pantene. Leave it in while you bathe then rinse. I actually comb my hair when it is wet, put in sauve aloe vera mouse or a touch of conditioner and leave it in my hair. Let air dry then style. Heat will damage hair so the conditioner should help protect it.
Lastly, keeping hair trimmed of split ends will help b/c once split they keep on going. I trim or snip ends myself on occassion. Good luck!

Hair Care Tips For Curly Hair
curly hair
Facts about Curly Hair
Curly hair is more susceptible to frizz. The best way of keeping hair frizz down is a light sprit of light hair spray, and when it gets dry, run your fingers through it. Not only does the hair spray hold nice zigzag parts, but it also cozies the frizzes to stay down.
Hair Care
1.Use a leave-in conditioner to make it easier to manage. Curly hair frizzes easily so this conditioner help prevents frizz.
2.For best result it should be combed. Don't use brush and if possible let it dry naturally.
AND NOW LET ME ADDRESS YOUR SECOND PROBLEMS OF "SPLITS"...
Split ends, hair SOS (or trichoptlosis), are the bane of every self-respecting woman’s life! They happen when the protective cuticle has been stripped away from the ends of hair fibers. Split ends are more likely to develop in dry or brittle hair, and typical causes of damage include excessive dying or vigorous brushing.
Once the hair cuticle is removed, it is impossible to replace. Typically the hair splits into two or three strands, and can be as long or two to three centimeters in length. The best treatment is to cut off the split end of the damaged fiber.
But you don’t necessarily have to go to the salon every week to keep your split ends in check. In the sixties and seventies, woman used to burn off their split ends themselves! Ouch! I’m sure you’ll agree that that’s a little excessive. There are easier ways to get rid of your dead ends before they split further... DIY (do-it-yourself) hair trims. Don’t be afraid, everyone does it!
Supermodels who openly take the snip between salon appointments include Natasha Vojnovic, Giselle Bundchen (of Dior advertisement fame), and Liya Kebede. In a recent Vogue interview, Sam McKnight, hairstylist to the stars, said “I’m all for people doing their own hair. It shows confidence and individuality. You can loose dry ends, add layers, even do a whole haircut yourself, although this is not for the fainthearted.”
These DIY hair trimming tips are for woman who are happy with their hair - picture perfect hair; for those who don’t need a re-style, but simply want to freshen things up with a ‘homegrown’ sort of look. If you are in any doubt, leave it for the professionals!
To remove split ends:
* Take small sections of hair and carefully twist them in a gentle downward motion.
Any split ends will automatically stick out.
* Carefully snip into the twist with sharp scissors. Don’t cut right through; just cut into the thickness to remove the damaged cuticles and give a natural layered effect.
* Be careful to cut roughly the same amount from each twist.
Remember, sometimes the simplest, and least expensive, ideas are the best. So get trimming your hair!

in order for u to get rid of split ends u need to cut it every 3-4 months because like u, i have the same problem , i have very curly hair and i have split ends also. also when u want to comb your hair u should have a leave in conditioner product like the Garnier Fructis Curl and shine leave in conditioner, so after u get out the shower and ur going to do your hair u put some cream in ur hand and massage it into your hair and your hair will become softer and easier to comb also the creme makes your hair a lot better looking and healthier.

Use "Segals" Brand 'Shampoo for Dry/Damaged Hair' and 'Conditioner for Dry/Damaged Hair'. For strong and healthy re-growth of hair from roots with a better texture and without spplit-ends and also to arrest premature Hair Fall use "Segals" brand 'Advanced Scalp Formula' and 'Advanced Hair Root Supplement'.

Clinically proven and backed by research. Assured results. 100% money-back guarantee in US and Canada. Imported in India from Canada. No other product works better-everything else is commercial. Don't use any shampoos containing Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocoamide, Propylene Glycol.
The faster way to really change the health of your hair is by taking supplements that work internally on the follicle where hair is made; that can only happen with systemically provided support, which means supplements that you take internally.. Keep in mind, regardless of how many or how much you take of any supplement, hair is never going to grow at a "Jack and the beanstalk" type of rate, the most you can hope for is to improve the strength and health of each hair follicle and to see an incremental increase in the rate of healthy hair growth

as a girl i can understand your problem.firstly you dont get afraid of having a curly hair.get a weekly hair massage with light aromatherapy oils like lavender instead of almond or mustard.also try weekly hair pack, using a handful of marigold, rose.dry grind these, add a banana and a slice of papaya whip it up using either an egg or some yoghurt.another tip is to apply warm oil with slightly warm milk.mix these togther and apply it in hair.and massage it.do twice in a week.you will get a better result.
