from the anesthetic, I feel better in my body already. The doctor said he found nothing untoward. I feel much better than I did before. Is this mind over matter, or did the procedure involve removing anything that was there? I was too groggy to ask him questions, and in any case he was dealing with another patient, before I was feeling less groggy.

Very common to feel sleepy after a sedated procedure. Also, very comon to not remember many details after the test, again, the sedation causes memory loss. Today, you should be clear in your mind. Call him/her to find the results of your test, if they did not give you written information. The test or prep should not make you feel any different than normal.
