I give my guinea pigs Timothy Hay. Now my cat keeps stealing their hay and eating it. Is this safe for the cat?

Your cat is probably craving greens. Outdoor cats nibble greens all the time. Hay won't hurt her (or him) but the cat might enjoy some catnip instead. Some cats will actually eat lettuce or other veggies, too. One of mine loves tomatoes!
