if its in the bathroom then you can buy a white pen that has paint in it to cover the dirt...
if its grey then just rub with a dry cloth and it should go back to original colour/color.

NONE of the above. Go to Home depot or Lowe's and buy a product called Grout Colorant & Sealer by a company named "Versa Tile". Buy it in White if you want pure white. It's like a tube with a small, hard short brush on top. Shake well and open the top and the product will come onto the short brush which you then apply to your grout.
EASY and it makes your grout look BRAND new. I did my whole kitchen and bathroom before we sold our house. My neighbor paid a guy to regrout and I used this (about 3 bucks a tube) and mine looked better than hers! One tube does a whole room so you don't even need much.
Good luck.

Zap has a product for restoring grout. It works very well. You can buy it at Home Depot. You just spray it on. Zap-Restorer.com After you finish I would seal the grout. It makes it stay cleaner much longer.

You should be able to buy grouting pen from any DIY shops. It is very easy to use, just mark over the grout
as if you were colouring. I have used one and get very good result, especially in the bathroom.

Get a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. You can find it in any store like Kroger or Wal Mart and such. I am sure you have seen it on TV in commercials.
