I have these bumps on the back of my tongue that I think have always been there but have DEFINETELY gotten bigger and swollen since yesterday. It feels like something is caught on my tongue. They don't hurt.. really more just annoying than anything because I can feel them everytime I swallow. I'm not sure if this makes a difference but for three days now I have had major nasal congestion.. taking decongestants, nasal saline spray, a whole lot of cough drops, and have been forcefully blowing my nose to try and remove the mucus (unsuccessfully I might add)

I would say that your sinus issues are probably related to the swellings you're referring to, and might be a spreading infection -- but that's probably the MOST serious thing it could be. If you're worried about it, you could go to a doctor to get a culture or biopsy done to ascertain the cause.

I would go see a doc and get checked for strep throat!! Even though you say it does not hurt it still could be strep!! It is better to be safe than sorry. Strep left untreated can turn into a worse life threatning prob!!
