what should i eat or drink to not get hurt by the toothpaste?

when i was a kid ....i used to eat toothpaste ((it was my favorite))....and i'm still alive till now

Swallowing some toothepaste is safe. You would have to swallow a whole lot of it for it affect you in a negative manner. Simply swallowing what you brush up in your mouth is not going to cause you any ill effects. However, if you grabbed the tube and started eating it (which I have no idea why you would) then call the poison control number (most likely located on the toothepaste) because they will be the best ones to tell you based on your weight, age, and how much you consumed -what to do.

You're a bit highly strung. Nothing is going to happen to you just because you swallowed some toothpaste.

If you have swallowed just a bit, there won´t be any problem and you shouldn't be worried. However, I think there are more important questions to be asked: How much have you swallowed? And why have done that?

Go directly to the emergency room! Speed, run red lights, don't pull over for the cops, just go!! Don't even finish reading the rest of the answers! Tooth paste kills thousands of people a year!

Try drinking lots of water to flush it down. I don't think you should eat that would make it thicker. Good luck w/that.

it won't hurt you. do nothing. You have to swallow about a full tube of the stuff at one time to even cause a stomach ache.
