i am staying in carlisle on sat night with my 2 kids aged 8 years.
as we are staying over id like to make a night of it,is there any child friendly bars where kids are welcomed and if any what is the curfew for children?
also any fun things to do in the evening?

I didnt mean a bar as you thought,i mean a brewers fayre type bar/resturant with play area ect !!!!!!!!

you can go to the movies on botchergate or lazer quest its beside wollworths across from tescos in town centure there is a brewers fare its on warwick road there is also a good all you can eat chinese across from the cinema called shanghi shanghi you can take the kids and drink alcohol there NATHANIEL YOUR A WANKER YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CARLISLE, ITS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. SO KISS MY AR SE.CARLISLE IS A CITY NOT A TOWN.

Carlisle is a rubbish town. If I were you I wouldn't spend £1 in the rubbish pit, more or less let my kids step foot in it. Go south to the Lake's District and avoid Pubs. Unless your trying to raise a couple Chavs, then I would suggest any bar near large Council tower blocks, usually located on the outside of cities. Look for spray paint on shop windows and you'll know you've arrived.
