Ah, baboo, stillness is a sign of morbidity.
Look at the water lilies along the nile, oops thames.
Peaceful at the surface and under a crock, oops tax collector.
Keep England, English, move to the USA. LOL :-))))

The Lake District. The beauty of the English countryside is untouched by McDonalds or Starbucks. Why not take a tent and bond with the beauty of nature?

I hope the Cornish aren't reading this - Cornwall is not England! (according to the hardcore element).
I'd recommend Devon (not Plymouth), Dorset, Yorkshire and the Lake District.

Northumbria, where the people are Passionate about where they live. Where there are miles of unspoilt countryside. Where it can be as bleak as Dartmoor. Where there are miles of uninhabited seashores and sandy beaches. Where there is a love of the simple things in life. Where civilisation is not too far away.
