Apply through Immigration Canada first.Skilled people or a family sponsored applicant will get in easier legally.Americans and Europeans can visit usually for 3 months with a passport.

It all depends where you are from!
If you are in another country you must apply to the Emigration Department or if you have a passport already you go to a travel agent and they will book a flight for you or a cruise if you like to travel by ship!

Silly question....Just cross the border by feet, bike, car or by boat, plane, train, etc. All you need is an valid ID or a passport, or a visa if you're an Non-US citizen.
