wow, difficult question... i mean we all have different levels of freeking out... and some may find chocolates sweet, i personally wouldnt be too impressed by a box of choc. what could be quite decent: isnt there a coffee machine or sth at your workplace where you could "accidentally" meet ..., you could buy her a coffee which she could return.... you might end up having a few short coffee-breaks together, which could be followed by meeting in café, or lunch, then dinner later ?

just approach her with a friendly way and understand how kind of girl she is and catch a hobby or a favorite film of her.May it will match with your favorite film and you will advise her another movie and lend her a cd of your other favorite film than talking about a film ,emotions,life can bring you to her
