It must taste like the muck used to make haggis - ghastly oily meat with 'herbs' that may have come from the local boneyard - the meat, I mean. They are both designed to keep fat people fat and ugly so they wont stroll from their equally fat partners. If you've never seen a Haggis on two legs, go to Glasgow. They seem to be competing in size with the Muslim kebab scoffers. When I take over the world they will be rounded up, pulped up and fed to the animals they stuffed inside their ghastly fat bellies over the past two decades or so. They will make endless desserts for the animals and get rightful deserts It's called recycling.

My guess is it's lamb that is steam recovered from the carcass and includes any other parts not used for anything else. It is then formed into that oh so familiar cone shaped thing.
In Turkey you get the same cone shaped thing but it is actually made of slices of actual recognisable lamb!!
I had a Donner kebab on Saturday after 6 pints of beer. I did not watch them make it and i refused any sauce. I wiped it round my drunken face for ten minutes or so and it was absolutely delicious. Don't ask me why...it just was.

Lamb. Any other meat used makes the kebab take that name, ie Chicken Kebab.

No, it definately lamb. It is mixed with rosemary and other spices.
The ends of the meat are covered in tail fat and spit roasted.

Have you ever seen what goes into sausages, cheap burgers, pork pies, chicken nuggets etc?
Its minced, seasoned lamb with breadcrumbs cooked so lots of the fat draisn away and probably healthier than lots of other stuff we all eat.

Generally it's a mixture of beef and lamb. When it's sliced thinly enough it melts in your mouth and is just amazing - if it's the good quality stuff.
