the radio has stopped working in my 98 rover 200.
it was off the road for a copule of weeks and the battery went flat and now the radio won't work. it seems to have no power to it so i am unable to put the code in.
nothing else electrical has stopped working. any ideas?
i have been told it may be a fuse, so can anybody tell me where i will find the fuses ?

Might be a inline fuse, check the wire from the back of your radio to see if there is a inline fuse fitted in a plastic holder.

I have a rover 45 04 plate, if your fuse box is in the same place (normally is - was in same place on my R reg rover 400) - on drivers side to right you have the drivers small glove box. You need to remove this carefully and behind this you will find the fuse box. If you have a manual it will tell you the best way of doing this - on my manual the fuse that controls the audio, also controls the clock and the cigar lighter - number 19 fuse 15 amp located at the front right of the fuse board - no guarantees on this info - but good luck.

the main fuse box is below steering column by drivers knees . turn the three screws and the cover comes off . the radio fuse is fuse number 3 . a 10 amp red fuse . third from left bottom row .if this is ok remove radio and check fuse in back of radio by connector block .

Hurray! I always get happy when i see love for the Clash. Capital Radio one was killer, but i wasn't as much of a fan of Capital Radio two, still a good tune though. My song of the day: Garageland - The Clash BA: I'm going to go with genius, but Mick Jones was right up there with him. Remember, he created the best tunes of the late 70s - early 80s. BA2: YES! BA3: Well, there's The Clash, and when I listen to Rancid, it sometimes feels the same. I think any band that's diverse enough to play around 8 different genres on one disc has that effect.
