We have just met and have been out on a couple of dates - I look not a day over 30. The difference troubles me - should the guy be older?

There is definitely no harm in dating someone who is younger than you. I don't understand why some people always question liking younger boys. It is not wrong! There is no rule that girls are not allowed to like younger boys. It's probably some stupid person who tried making it a rule, but relax! Do not ever bother such lame things.
You have full right in loving someone younger than you. The most important thing should be that you both believe it's not wrong to do so. And no, you do not have any illness. There isn't any illness for girls liking younger boys. That's just crazy!
You know you love him, and he knows he loves you. The end! No need to worry about the world. You trust your love, and no-one will ever be able to prove that such a relationship is useless.
If it were really true that a relationship proves to be stronger when girls like/love/marry older boys, then there wouldn't be so many divorces.
So, what say? Still confused? Still doubt it's wrong/weird to love someone younger? Hope not, because you're perfectly normal and correct.
So, prove it to people out there that it's perfectly normal! Show others that your love is true! Go girl! Prove it to everyone! But before that, remember to believe it first! All the best!

Catherine! Hell No! My Brother is Years younger than his Wife? And they're Celebrating #32, in March. And that was with 3 Years of shaking up, before that. No! Age, isn't a factor. No I don't think so it is only 6 years and at the ages you two are, that is no big deal. It is not like the difference in12 and 18. I am 27 and my fiancee is 22 and we have a two year old son and couldn't be happier. Age is not an issue; things like personality and physical attraction are much more important.

Love cares little about age and what is six years, i know couples that have a 13 year age difference and they have been married for years. Men marry younger women what is so different if the female chooses a younger mate.

No it's not too big of a difference. It all just depends on how you two feel about it. If you all can live with it don't worry about it. Love is love it don't matter the age.

It's just 6 years! that's nothing, regardless of how youthful you look (lucky you)!
Focus on how you feel about how you feel about him, that's all that matters. If it develop seriously , it's things like having kids that can be an issue. There's 17 yrs between me and my husband, we've been together for 12 happy years, hopefully many to come.

Age shouldn't be a problem in this situation. But you need to realize that you need to stay in good physical condition. If you let yourself put on weight and don't take care of yourself he's definately going to start looking at younger women.

Just go for it! I know of many couples in happy marriages and their age difference is much wider than yours. If it's true love, it'll work out!

im 30 my husband is 48 and i dont look a day over 25 lol if you like him be with him
