Your teacher probably wants you to learn what executives in companies do by researching them, and seeing that they are important people to a company. It could help to increase your desire to become an executive, and not want to settle for being just staff, who don't get as much respect.

To make you aware of what you want to do with your life....I don't know your age, but I think you might be in High School, I am an executive myself, the work you normally do is what other people plan, you add to the ideas, maybe they are yours, executives are very active, you need a lot of energy an be VERY efficient. I advice you this: If you are an active, organized, goal oriented, and consider yourself to have emotional intelligence, this can be an extraordinary option for you.
