Actually there is.
You might be thinking there is none because you're used to see commercial freezers (freezers for household use). But if you happen to go to a food commissary, they have this big industrial freezers (freezers for industrial use). Its a big freezer, wherein you can walk inside, more or less 5 sqm.
Now probably the reason why we dont have light in commercial freezers is that it vulnerable to human handling of foods - I usually toss the cold cuts inside the freezer, it might break the light. Also, theres no ample space inside the freezer - you might end-up breaking the light. With the lights in industrial freezers, it is usually set above the corners. Away from the food crates or anything that would obstruct/hit the lights.

Like someone else mentioned before, The light might heat the food in the freezer, and im sure the reason you have it in there is to keep it cold, so putting a light might not be right for it, but these days there are lights that wont affect the temp...Update your freeze :)

It depends on the type of freezer that you have, most upright (larder freezers) don't have them, our chest freezer at home has one in the middle of the lid at the back so that it shines on all of the contents when you open the lid.

A light bulb in the freezer would soon ice up and would be no use, as it would not provide any worthwhile light.

I have never seen a worse group of answers in my life. HEAT THE FOOD? The light goes otu when you close the door people, think before you come up with a B.S. answer. Has anyone thought out the fact that the bulbs are made from glass. You freeze the bulb, then rapidly heat it up? What happens? Yeah, there is your answer

The light would provide a source of heat which may not keep your frozen products at the right temperature
