it is because we have materialy entangled our senses in this world. if one sees others as souls than this bodies he will love equaly even creatures of low conscience as we as a whole r part and parcel of supreme.

We have 2 days off in a week.... so to spend those 2 days we LOVE someone.... Then the rest 5 days we ought 2 work.... So we HATE the person.... This is a routine for every week.... People change from week 2 week.... More off's more Love's.... ENJOY LIFE BUDDY!!!!

Love and hatred are two sides of the same coin. There is no difference actually and none is better than the other. The same people who we love today will be the persons who we will hate tomorrow.
Actually we love our parents today, coz they may be of selfish interest to us. But when they become nuisance to us we will not have the same love for them or may even start hating them. So it is one scale from Hatred to Love and our awarding points may differ from one situation to other, from one person to other and from one time to other.

You Love people you like. You hate people you don't like.
Now you have defined your definition of liking. For eg:- if the person is good looking as you define, if the person is acting as you wished, or if the person belongs to your team/religion, etc.
So just try stretch your definition of liking and start occupying more things in it. Ratio of hatred will start decreasing automatically.

You hate somebody when you find that His acts, his words, his thoughts do not match with yours.
You love somebody when you get happiness on meeting him/her or talking to him/her or seeing him/her. Also when you like him/her in totality as a person of your choice.

Loving and hating poeple belongs to whether they coincide with us or not. Basically All the things belongs to this only. If they coincide with our character than we love them and vice versa.
