Go and kit yourself out with lingerie that will totally blow his mind, a nice bottle of bubbly then give him a night to remember!! Got kids? Try to get them over to a babysitter (your mum or his mum preferably) This is a guaranteed pleaser (tried and tested!!!!) Have fun!!!!!

How about skippy the gift and just have a nice quite night out.
Make the arrangements – dinner reservations and a night at a bed and breakfast with a jacuzzi. Tell him not to have plans for the evening.
When he gets home, have your (and his) bags packs. Have a drink, the drive him to the B&B. Relax in the cuzzi and bed before dinner. Go out for dinner & drinks and start over.
No gift can replace a wife's desire to spend quality time with her man, and who makes all of the arrangements in advance. Spur of the moment sucks (e.g. hey, I never gave it a thought, but lets get a room anyways...). Knowing she planned it advance means much more.
When guys want something, we buy it. We cannot buy passion.

I agree men are so hard to buy for. Also ask him and see what he says. Just say you have no clue what to get him and he might hint at some thing like us women do.

How about you naked jumping out of a cake. Or My girlfriend covered her Cal king bed in plastic & squirted baby oil all over it & did it with her husband. He said it was great fun. If not I'd go for an experience like above said. Sandals Resort if you got the cash.

What are his favorite things to do? does he work at an office or have a desk you could get a nice frame with a picture of both of you in it. plan a romantic meal somewhere take a picnic lunch to a park or dinner at a cozy place you both like. make a picture album with pictures of past,present and future activities.

You know when men say socks or something simple that is exactly what they want.
For some strange reason woman always seem to think that to buy just socks it not enough .........but girls it is believe me...........
You can always book him on an hot air balloon trip but I bet anything you like as he goes up in that balloon he will be wishing you had got him socks

How about some gadgets. Like a model aeroplane, a grab machine. Anything he can play with, coz they're just kids really.
