I think you should leave your cousin because it is likely to cause more strain on your family than a relationship is worth.

I'd say definitely not. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear but you need to look in the long-term. If she is 17 and you are 24 then you will probably be regarded by most of your family as taking advantage of her.

The likelihood of someone who is 17 settling with you permanently before she's reached full maturity is a small one. Therefore you'd be putting yourself and your family through a lot of pain and stress for something that is highly unlikely to last forever.

The fact that she's somewhat out of bounds is probably making her that bit more of an attraction to you which is why you feel this is serious to you. Honestly, save yourself and your family a lot of pain and find someone else. Your feelings for her will pass.

She isn't actually your cousin if her mum is your mums cousin. People could be in your situation and not even know it. Still speak to this girl and find out if there is anything there, I f you like each other and think it is worth a bit of hassle then go for it.

No, legally there is nothing to stop you (in England) dating your Mother's cousin's daughter (not a close enough blood tie to mean there'd be complications regarding your genetics) However.... There are going to be reprucusssions regarding the connection so you must be v sure of yourselves before making any big decisions. 1stly though I think you have to speak to the young lady, find out if she does like you or if she simply sees you as an older brother.

If it's cousin of you mum then she is your second cousin. And as Cledus says "seconds cousins is legal". SO practice up on you banjo with dem four fingers.

Leave the five mile radius of where you were born in order to bring back a mate (new blood is good for the line, keeps things fresh).

Not a good idea to go down that road! You probably want people to tell you to go for it, but think about it carefully....would it be worth it? Plus there are plenty of fish in the sea!
