I love this sliced up and served with mashed potatoes and pickles, like sweet pickled onions, gherkins, beetroot, pickled eggs, pickled red cabbage etc, it sounds horrible but honestly tastes great!!!

Very irish dish. You could do boiled potatoes and cabbage. But I'd rather slice the boiled gammon, fry an egg, sunny side up on the gammon with chips and peas. Lovely. Mm.

De-bone the meat and sliver it. Saute with mixed vegetable, seasoning to taste. You have two options now.
Option one, fill an unbaked pie shell with the sauteed mixture. Bake and you have a Gammon Pie. Serve with a salad.
Option two, mix the sauteed gammon and vegetable with cooked pasta. Place in an oven pan. Top it with bachamel sauce and bake until top is browned and you have Baked Gammon Pasta. Serve it with a clear soup.
Bon Apetit!

I used to love boiled gammon with creamy mash potatoes
and peas. I know it sounds like hospital food but it is quite
yummy.!!
Don,t forget 'onion sauce' as well.

This may sound crazy to you but I have a friend who bolis gammon or ham in Coke (as in Coca Cola). I recommend that you try with a little joint first, just in case you do not like it.
Enjoy!

Onion gravy is delicious with gammon.
melt butter in a pan add plain flour stir into a roux add milk slowly so not to go lumpy, continue simmering until a thick sauce. put into liquidiser with chopped up onions and then put back into pan and heat gently.

The classic is obviously Pineapple rings or an egg.
Personally I am fond of a pile of mushrooms, chunky home-cut chips and garden peas.
Seems I was beaten to that conclusion though, lol.
