that some christians will write here (in 'pleasant' terms) that you are a sinner and going to hell and your point of view is wrong and the bible is true and you can't argue with it, and then say "god bless" at the end

There's nothing wrong with telling the truth, and there's nothing wrong with being nice about it. If the "truth" turns out to be bad news, it's not the fault of the messenger.

(Although I'd like to know how they know about Hell, unless they've been for a vacation...)

Yes, that is so wrong! Condemning a person to roast like marshmallows in an eternal hell fire, while they cock up their legs in comfort.

Yipppppeeeee!!!! I am so happy (Never mind the fact, it could be one of your kids or your spouse) but the only thing that matters is their self-centered point of view, which is....

Mmmmm, dreamy!!! I love being self centered n selfish! Wow! Those chunks of diamonds I got for rescuing the lost, almost outweighs the value I had for their souls! Talk about money making it hard to get to heaven!

What about the greed after you get there? Mmmmm...., streets of gold? Heck, who cares if others don't make it, at least it will make ME happy being here!

Well, so sorry about you roasting in hell, mom, dad, best friend, but this high life is really off the chain, yo!

Almost wish you would of made it, but then you might get a share of my gold I had!

Peace out, infidels & sinners! Don't talk about my sins, cause I always feel better telling you about yours...

Good bye, & enjoy the roast!

P.S. Did I say roast? Everything looks spectacular from up here on the fluffy, if you know what I mean, clouds n all. Can barely see you from my 3 story mansion God gave me.

But I am sure I can imagine your pain, not that I know what it is like anymore, but you can believe I used to, I think, that memory is kind of fading, in light of all the pleasures I have here to enjoy.

Soon, I will be forgot you, sorry bud, take care.

From,

Your dedicated Christian bro in Christ.

"Ignorant" comes to mind. It would be better if they actually were hypocritical. Unfortunately, these guys are not hiding anything - they actually employ that dualistic double-think, and love you all the way to that hell that they choose to believe in.

Dostoevsky describes the same scenario, in which Calvinists in Geneva convict a man of theft, convert him to Calvinism, and then sing hymns and recite prayers with him all the way to the gallows.

Isn't it hypocritical that they believe the bible when the scientific facts of overwhelming doubt directly contradict it...

Not really. It's a way to say good bye, good luck, be healthy, whatever. Just because the word God is in a phrase does not make it religious.

If you don't believe in Jesus you will go to hell, but you won't as a sinner if you repent because we all are sinners but Jesus said he will forgive us, all we have to do is accept him and ask.
That's not hypocritical---- That's God's word.

but so do the atheists.
they always try to convince us and the others that religions (any religion, not just christian) are wrong and there's no God.
if we try to answer them, they don't even want to listen
