These are clear prohibition about liquor. Jesus never drank any wine. It was a lie. How can a god(if you believe him to be god) go against his command.
Please don't preach what you don't practise.

Lev. 10:9 Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:

Numbers 6:3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.

I strongly believe that Christians are confused about this and many issues for at least two reasons:

1. The Bible has been so dilluted due to translation after translation, and abridged versions etc. With any text that has been translated the meaning or context can be interpreted slightly differently, and imangine how many times the Bible has been translated.

2. A lot of Christians have changed their interpratation of the Bible in order to fit in with the current times, they do this for their own convenience.

It was so interesting when I went to a Christian private school, some Christians ate pork while others didn't, some embraced Christmas while others believed it to be a pagans holiday. Some drank beacause "a little wine makes the heart happy" while others stated what you have stated above.

Did you read the whole chapter in Lev. 10 or did you just pick something out so you could have a reason to criticize Christians. You seem to think that being a Christian means perfection - WRONG - there is no perfect person walking this earth today We do things wrong just like anyone else but when we are a child of God, we will be convicted of that wrong doing and do something about it.
Lev 10 9 actually says - and I'm backing up a little to verse 8 "Then the Lord said to Aaron, " You and your sons are ot to drink wine or other fermented drink WHENEVER you go into the Tent of Meeting, or you will die" I think you left out a couple of very important words. God was telling Aaron what and how to do I don't wine partly because I don't like the taste. The Bible says that a little bit of wine is good for the stomach but it also says not to be a drunkard. READ all of Numbers 6 - again you have taken apart of the whole to make it read as you want it too God is giving instructions, he also says "no razor may be used on his head" but he is speaking about giving a vow and what shouls and should not be done
Read it all before going and telling people that God doesn't allow something when you have taken it all out of context.

Read the account of the last supper aka The Lords Supper.in Matthew 26 verse 26 through 29. Jesus drank wine... Mark 14 verse 25 says Jesus partook of the fruit of the vine =wine. It's the same in Luke 22 verse 17 and 18. In John 2 verse 9 a story is told of Jesus turning water into wine. Jesus didn't get drunk and He doesn't advocate drinking too much wine/getting drunk. But wine was used. and used properly.

Please note that the first passage says "when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation." In other words, don't drink just before church.
As for the second passage, that's about the Nazarite's vows. See Numbers 6:2:
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
And THEN Numbers 6:3:
He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.

Adverse effects of drugs....

"Alcohol consumeth the mind and causeth man to commit
acts of absurdity, but this opium, this foul fruit of the infernal
tree, and this wicked hashish extinguish the mind, freeze the
spirit, petrify the soul, waste the body and leave man frustrated
and lost."

(Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 239)

On the Eucharistic excuse for drinking wine...

"Notice that "coming to Him" He expresses as eating, and "belief in Him" as drinking. Then it is evident and established that the celestial food is the divine bounties, the spiritual splendors, the heavenly teachings, the universal meaning of Christ. To eat is to draw near to Him, and to drink is to believe in Him. For Christ had an elemental body and a celestial form. The elemental body was crucified, but the heavenly form is living and eternal, and the cause of everlasting life; the first was the human nature, and the second is the divine nature. It is thought by some that the Eucharist is the reality of Christ, and that the Divinity and the Holy Spirit descend into and exist in it. Now when once the Eucharist is taken, after a few moments it is simply disintegrated and entirely transformed. Therefore, how can such a thought be conceived? God forbid! certainly it is an absolute fantasy."

Be careful. If you want to be held to the Laws... you be accountable for holding to the WHOLE law and you need to quote contextual what each verse you have chosen has to do with - the Levitical Priests were set apart for a reason and were expected to practice as such. There were very specific dietary reasons for these rules... just as they had for disease and other customs we do not practice today.... so just careful on what you are preaching here.

Paul actually encourages Timothy in 1 Timothy 5:23 "No longer drink water exclusively, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent ailments." For medicinal reasons.

You may want to do some research on the customs and cleanliness of water in Jesus' day... as well as the strength of the wine that was traditionally drunk.

You may be surprised...

As for Christians following their own teaching... you may want to check what the Bible actually says. Cause you would see their are different convictions with every Christian when it comes to alcohol but as for drunkenness... there's clarity in God's Word that it's NOT wise to practice.

you're very at a loss for words. The books you write approximately are actually not observed by ability of christians. Christians save on with christ, see how the words are comparable. The e book that tells human beings approximately christ is the hot testomony. The books you've heard approximately are lots older and are available from a time that folk had very stressful lives. they did no longer stay long and that they've been into punishing one yet another. The old testomony and The Koran have been written by ability of Jews and Muslin's. they do no longer look to be christians.

You are pulling verses out of context.

These are rules for specific people.

Even Paul said that a little wine is good for the stomach.

There are no general prohibitions to drinking; the only general prohibition is about getting drunk. Don't do that.

And the teachings are not "Christians'" They are from the Bible, so they are God's.

Jesus had to die for mankind because we could not make our own selves righteous enough for God.

Being a Christian does not mean being perfect. It means being forgiven for our sins. Christians are sinners who know they are forgiven and saved by the grace of God.

You kill me to think you know anything about me or my religion.

You post a few passages and call yourself an authority and dare tell me what to do! I would never tell you such crap.

My friend, you are lost. I drink on Sunday the same way I do on Thursday. Drinking does not go against the Bible. If you think it is immoral, then don't do it. However, don't call me out because I do.

I do practice what I preach.

Paul says in Galatians, The law was given unto us as a schoolmaster to bring us unto faith, once we have come unto faith there is no longer the need for a schoolmaster.

What Paul is saying here is that the law was given to us to let us see there is no way we could ever obey it. Jesus says if you break any part of the law you are guilty of the whole law. He goes on to say if you say anything other than "yes" or "no" you are guilty of the whole law.

Once we come to the realization that we can never obey the law. Then we must chose faith in God's promise of salvation through the death of Jesus. Once you have come unto faith there is no longer the need for a law. You don't have to quit smoking, drinking, screwing the hot chick down the street. You are saved through the gift not of works lest any man should say, "Look how good I was. I was good enough to go to heaven".

Being good doesn't make you a good Christian either. If being good makes you feel good, then do it.

You are perfect in Gods eyes once you have accepted the gift. You can't do anything to make the gift better and if you try then you are disrespecting what Jesus did for you.

The Bible is full of people who were not perfect yet had faith.

Stand fast in your liberty, you are free.
