iv been seeing a girl for 4months,weve had a great laugh n have said we love each other, bt on valentines her x of 3 years,who is 8 years older than her, sent her flowers,i was annoyed as she 4ght it was me,i got onto her email to message him,he denied it. she then sent txts to my phone that were meant for him,saying last nite was special n it feels like when we met. i finished with her, assuming she wanted him, but shes convinced its me she wants and has made effort to convince me, saying its complex and she was confused, she accepts shes lied but doesnt want to lose me because she doesnt see a future with him, i said she needs time to clear her head coz theres no point getting back with him if she hasnt properly got over her x. could i ever trust her though? should i cut my losses?

Ithink you are doing the right thing,in giving her a litle time to think.I dont think she has got feeling for her ex anymore,it sound like shes confused because he sent her flowers,it probably brought some memories back for her.She obviously feels for you,if you want my advice,i dont think its your girl in the wrong,but her ex for sending her flowers and messing with her head.Once she has thought about it i bet he will be out of the picture for good,remember they broke up for a reason,that reason will still be there,once shes realised that,you can both move on together,give her a chance to sort through her feelings.

I think you should sit down and have a heart to heart with her. I have been through something the same and it may hurt for a while but you will find someone that you will learn to love and trust and they will do the same for you. I think that this relationship is not going to go any further as she is clearly not over her ex as she is still texting him and meeting him. If I was you I would get out now before you completly fall for this girl and then it would be even harder to walk away. The choice is yours good luck!!!!!

well to start with why did you get narky about her thinging you sent the flowers? your reaction to that has caused all these other emotions to get out of control. also you seem to fly off the handle easily, dont go on some huge power trip with her if you dont see yourself as an equal with her then call it a day

You should support her while she is making her choice and if ya love her then you should try and make it work. I'm not saying stand by and let her do what she wants but let her know how you feel and let her know that her ex is an ex for a reason.
