Well, given the fact that it has been recently made mandatory for all middle-school aged girls in the state of Texas, I would imagine that it's being given quite reegularly -- my wife has had it administered as well. It is effective for the lifetime of the individual, and is specific for the strains 6, 11, 16, and 18 of HPV, as they are the main disease-causing strains.
