Isoproniazid is an anti-tubercular, as well as, an monoamine-oxidase inhibitor. If the patient is using this drug, the same precautions should be taken as with an MAOI-type antidepressant like Nardil (phenylzine). Google MAOI or Nardil for more.

Normal balanced diet, with exra vitamins and iron. If INH is given, pyridoxine (vitamin B 6) should also be given.
