The X could get the square or ..

Hollywood Sqaures reference. Hollywood Squares is a game show, when the person representing "circle" gets the correct answer, they get the square. "Circle gets the square". I suspect someone around you has misused this reference.

Yes, these guys are right, but I just heard this recently in a movie or tv show, where a character was just using it as an expression to mean 'you have given the right answer' and it made me laugh at the time. Mostly because I figured few people would get the reference. It was classic.
But now I can't remember which movie or tv show. But I bet that's where you heard it. So can you remember exactly where you did hear it?
