The answer to this question is "yes" much better then IE6 and you can still access your email by clicking on to the small gear wheel icon which says tools, then scroll down to the word toolbars, click on this then click on customise then select the email icon and add it to the tool bar, but over all it is very good and I have not had any problems with it, my install of IE7 was a clean install and not an upgrade from IE6 to IE7 so there are no conflict's with old and new software, so go ahead and install the new upgrade and give it a try, if you decide that it is not for you then simply un-install the upgrade and IE6 will be replaced automatically for you..Good luck

there are pros and cons of IE7, and it's up to your pref. IE7 is a major upgrade over the previous version, but still lack of securities. It has included Tabbing windows, Pop-up blockers (IE6 has it already), more secure than 6, but not at its prime yet. So, if you are concern with security more, use FireFox, if you don't have any to worry, go ahead, knock yourself out and download it. I'm using IE7 and like it. I personally don't like FF, and that is just my personal comment.

I downloaded IE7 a while ago on the advice of support team as i was having a few minor but annoying problems while using IE6. i'm happy with it, didn't realise i could switch back if unhappy, but not planning on doing that.

It's worth downloading...but don't forget: IE 7 only works fine when you have WindowsXP and also the "Service Pack 2" and all upgrades from Microsoft.com installed & downloaded...Otherwise, you might have problems & troubles with the new IE 7.
But, I prefer the Firefox browser - it's much faster, safer and better than anything from MS. And Firefox also is free as well. Another browser is Opera, but that's not my stuff.
Greetings from Germany...

Yes. I am using it for the past two months and it works just fine.
Can't imagine going back to IE6.
Though the functionality is the same as firefox, its a good piece of software.

Only strange thing is the amazon log in page takes a while to allow your data to be entered, but tabbed browings Old hat for opera or firefox of course) and resizing of pages are nice, as well as pop up blocker etc

Obviously the newest release will have less bugs and less problems than older version of IE, it's always good to keep on top of new releases.
But try out other browsers to see which you prefer, you can try Mozilla Firefox here:
http://www.mozilla.org/
Or you can try out Opera here:
http://www.opera.com/
I prefer Mozilla Firefox and have used it for close to 3 years but that's my personal preference, everyone is different.
