Read books of your interest, as much as you can, keep a dictionary with you. Don't let any word to pass that you don't know the meaning of it. At first page may be you will find 15 words you don't know the meaning, second page of the book may be 10, and after 2 or 3 pages you will be in position to know all the words. As any writer uses his all the vocabulary in first few pages and than it goes on repeating in rest of the book.

Read plenty of newspapers, listen to the radio a lot. Better then simply listening, record a radio show (the news are the best for this) and then listen to it over and over again, until you understand it perfectly. Then you will automatically remember some expressions, and improve your speech. The same with the newspapers - only get classy ones, not garbage. And ask people not to get tired of correcting your speech and spelling - those friends would better help you at this then just tell you that you should improve. And yes, of course, go to some English courses. 2 years, it's really a piece of cake if you put your mind at it. I'm not saying this just for comfort.

Read alot of books, always using a dictionary for the words that u don't understand, watch tv in english and listen music in english, if it is possible, get the lyrics and sing along with the cd, it will help with your pronunciation, later translate the song so that you can understand more about it. It will make it easier if you practice the language with someone else, always try to practice, no matter where, or with who, if you have a chance do it.

What is your native language? If your native language is not English, perhaps you could find an English as a second language class. Your local school district could help you.

If your native language is English then go to the library and ask the librarian to recommend some early English grammar books. If you need help to find these all you have to do is ask one of the library employees.

Good luck.

The Catholic church first came up with the notion of the Trinity...Father, Son and Holy Ghost. That has prevailed in many Protestant faiths as well. Trinitarian denominations believe that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one and the same, all together, inseparable. It is claimed that there is no scriptural foundation for this, but I am not well versed in scripture, so I cannot say. I find it a difficult concept to master, because I believe that Jesus was the Son of God, not God himself.
