Before you read this know that I am mixed (Cherokee, Nubian and German), so my hair is insane when left alone...
The condition known as split ends, technically known as trichoptilosis, occurs when the hair has been stressed too much and the stress frays the ends of the hairstrand. Common causes of trichoptilosis include damage from heat styling, bleaching, coloring, and use of inferior haircare products. Although some products claim to repair split ends, this just isn't true. The only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them off.
Dove will make your hair feel soft and look beautiful. The best thing you can do to prevent frizz is to comb through your hair while it's got conditioner in it (one of the more expensive stylists in my town told me this) then when you rinse you don't have tangles.
Don't brush your hair after it's dried (if you've got frizzy, curly hair don't follow advice made for blonde, thin, straight hair!)
Don't use serums to keep the frizz down (they're often oily or greasy and they don't really work!)
Talk to a stylist or a clerk at your local beauty supplier about what products would work best for YOUR HAIR TYPE.

My hair is coloured so I use the John Frieda range Brilliant Brunette and KMS Moisture Repair Conditioner. This combo is working well for me now. I think KMS has a good serum for curly hair

I have tried almost every salon and drugstore line and most of the shampoos are about the same however even my hairdresser recommends Pantene conditioner and for antifrizz I absolutely love BioSilk.............split ends the best solution is to start trimming them off or they will keep splitting.

Alberto VO5 Volume Boost
or Smooth and Silky.
Either variant works well.
Also Mane and Tail Shampoo, makes my hair shiny even without conditioning.
