Any green vining pant will do as long as it tolerates low or artificial light. They are easy to care for and they put oxygen back into the room as they use carbon dioxide to grow. They also absorb the moisture in the bathroom so you don't have to water as often. Some vining plants may absorb odors in the room which is an added benefit. On occasion wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust or chemicals (in the air like hairspray) that will deposit on the leaves. THEY WILL APPRECIATE YOUR CARE AND REWARD YOU. Best to use only one plant; two if you have a large bathroom. I personally like a pathos vine or maybe a petite ivy. Please don't overdo or the plants won't be as affective in keeping the air fresh.

All houseplants love steam, they are tropical. The problem in most case is the light. Find a plant who likes low light, like a devil's ivy (I don't know the scientific name). This is a hanging plant that does well with low light and neglect. (The leaves start to curl when it gest dry, telling you to give it a drink).

The leaves of any plant will absorb the moisture from the steam and slow down the watering needs.

Good Luck!

A rubber plant or Ficus Benjamina.
I have silk poppies in a copper jug in my bathroom and it looks very effective. VERY low maintenance, and always looks good.

I have had a philodendron in my bathroom for years. Very beautiful green lush leaves! It definitely gets pretty steamy in there, and I think my plant is very happy. I just water it on a regular basis...now that you have reminded me, I think it's probably time to re-pot it or at least give it some plant food!
