Yes, I do. I find that the Church has examined every aspect of human life and has developed the proper instructions for whatever questions we may have. The catechism is an invaluable resource, and is based on Holy Scripture.

Hi, I respond as a Catholic here, It is my experience that many Catholics are now doing their own thing these days and many do not adhere to the catechism of the church,I am not being picky but it appears that those around the ages of 25-45 are in this bracket,I suppose there is a spirit of defiance and pride that is prevalent in the church,older Catholics tend to be more obedient to the catechism in todays modernistic society.

If they aren't adhering to the teachings found in the Catechism, how can they be considered "practicing Catholics"?
