on wikipedia it says, among other things,

>>"According to the Qur'an, the Kaaba was built by Ibrahim (Abraham) and his son Ismail (Ishmael [1]). Later Muslim traditions assert that the Kaaba "reflects" a house in heaven called al-Baytu l-Maˤmur [10] (Arabic: البيت المعمور) and that it was first built by the first man, Adam. Ibrahim and Ismail rebuilt the Kaaba on the old foundations. [11]"<<

with that in mind, it being something specifically associated with Ishmael, it makes sense that it would be of no interest to Jews and Christians, as any relevance would have been essentially attached to Ishmael.

remember that Ishmael was Abraham's first son, with the Slave-woman Hagar, (since sarah was concluded to be barren, and Abraham needed to have an heir) who was then later rejected in favor of Isaac, his son with Sarah.

the "legend" of it being that the hebrews descended from Isaac, and the Arabs descended from Ishmael.

Judaism would have no real interest in ishmael's house...

and Christianity splintered from Judaism, so if it wasn't relevant to judaism, theres no reason it'd be relevant to Christianity.

No. For Jews, the perception that God might grow to be human is the suited heresy. besides the undeniable fact that, Judaism is unique between the international’s religions in that it claims no copyright on, or exclusivity to, fact. It would not denounce different faiths as erroneous or heretical. it relatively is adamant that there are a number of paths to the single God. Judaism is a direction, no longer the path. there is not any one way. there is not any one large fact, yet particularly a crew of truths possessed via each and every u . s . that, whilst introduced jointly, creates the actuality. And it relatively is what makes each and every u . s . vital. Jews, Christians, and Muslims ought to income lots from one yet another in the event that they might purely basically stop and hear. as long as any faith finally leads to humility and worship of the single God, to passionate religious rituals and compassion and loving-kindness, then it has created a valid direction to the source of the universe.

I don't think he "built" the Ka ba, and I don't think he was ever in Mecca.

I don't suppose you have a Bronze Age source for this information, do you? Because if you're relying on the Koran for this, someone has lied to you.

(You can't just make stuff up and then wonder why no one believes you.)

Because no where are we to worship idols. We worship our Lord.
Our pilgrimage is an inward journey to God. Not a trip through the desert to a piece of reinforced black basalt.

Maybe because no one heard of it until Mohammed made it up 1300 years ago?
