I had some boyfriends that like it, but then after a few months said it was too much and started to all me "CLINGY". I hate being called that. I would have never thought that I would consider myself clingy. I show my affection when I really like someone. I also distance myself from that person all in the same relationship. I asked my b/f last night if he thought that I was too clingy at times, b/c he sometimes acts like he doesn't want me to touch him... So that makes me feel like I am not attractive or sexually appealing to him. He said he knew what I meant... (I didn't tell him what it made me feel like) he also said that he did mind it at times but wouldn't mind it then, b/c we were talking. Now when I say "show our affection", I mean snuggle with a guy and lean on him, not always try to kiss him... So why don't guys like it? You would think that it would turn them on in a weird way or something... or atleast make them feel good or big headed.

Many guys don't like public affection, but there are also many that do. Personally, I love it when my wife is holding me tight in public. We have a form of private communication when she does that.

It sounds like your boyfriend is simply one of those guys who doesn't like public affection. It's just him, and he's just one guy. He certainly doesn't represent the rest of the male population.

If the guy doesn't like it, there's probably not much you can do about it other than live with it. I'm sure you will find plenty of opportunities to snuggle with him in private to make up for it.

Most chicks wouldn't want a man who actually wanted the chick to be affectionate - they would quickly be tagged "nice guys" and end up soon in the junk heap in some gutter

What's most amazing is most chicks have absolutely no guilt went they dump nice guys - instead preferring to go back to their usal cheating, lying, and controlling bad guys - thus beginning the complaints all over about the guys claming they are "clingy"

I happen to like clingy, it lets me know, "I'm the MAN!" 8) There's nothing wrong with it luv, but you do have to understand that for some guys, being "macho" is a must. Appearances toward their buddies means a lot and a girl that constantly hangs on them is a no-no to their studliness.

I'm almost always showing affection. Sometimes my girl calls me "Mr. Touchy Feely". I don't mind that. As a matter of fact, she
touches and feels a lot, too. Public showing of affection is very
much okay in my book.

men by nature are conquerors and predatory when they feel that you have been conquered they easily lose interest. when your are being too predictable they also tend to stray.

theres nothing wrong with you. he just cant keep up with your sweetness.

someone who loves you and is attracted to you likes it when you show your affection.
