how can i upgrade my windows xp 2004 to windows vista?

Look if you bought the windows vista upgrade than just put the cd in and follow the instructions this will keep all of your files instact.. installing Windows Vista is easier than installing XP. if you don't have the upgrade but the full version. put the cd in and hopefully you will still be able to upgrade like that otherwise. you must restart your pc and boot from the cd and follow the instructions the bad thing is you will loose all your files. Windows Vista is great because most of the drivers are installed automatically.
